Routine Analytical & Compliance

Non-Potable Water

Microbac employs a consultative approach to meet your water testing priorities. We offer a full range of wastewater analyses common in NPDES permitting, including: diverse general chemistry analyses (metals, organics and inorganics); microbiology (fecal coliforms, E. coli); organic chemistry (SVOC, VOCs, pesticides, PCBs, herbicides); and Whole Effluent Toxicity. Online reports and data management for compliance reporting give you 24/7 transparency to your project.

Municipal Drinking Water

We offer a full range of drinking water analyses and provide timely, reliable data to help you manage your compliance requirements. Chemical and microbiological testing services include: secondary contaminants, inorganic contaminants, synthetic organics, volatile organics, metals, disinfection by-products (TOC, THMs, HAAs) and microbiology. Microbac fully supports the fourth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR 4) to test the 30 chemical contaminants.

Soil & Sediments

Tap into our testing services for soil characterization, site investigations and multi-incremental testing for government site work. We offer programs to support your RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) compliance.

Ground Water Testing

Microbac services a vast assortment of clients in support of sampling and analysis to meet their groundwater monitoring requirements. We support clients with diverse field services, including a variety of collection methods from manual bailers to automated pump systems. Our analytical support covers a full list of organics, metals, and inorganic analyses.

Air Testing

Our air testing lab offers specialized industry expertise and analytical testing services to meet a variety of air sampling needs, including indoor air quality, vapor intrusion, soil vapor extraction (SVE), remediation and industrial analytical support. Ambient air testing at work sites includes landfill gas analysis; Soil Gas Vapor Intrusion testing; Indoor Air Vapor Intrusion testing; and MGP Site fence-line monitoring.

Waste Characterization

Through years of environmental services testing experience, our team understands all analytical needs for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) compliance. Working in a variety of states, we also have experience meeting clients’ needs for analytical assistance related to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and Clean Construction and Demolition Debris (CCDD) programs. We support clients with a knowledgeable and experienced Field Services staff that can assist with the appropriate collection of samples.

Convenient Field Service

Microbac’s geographic footprint allows us to offer regionalized field services necessary to ensure the full spectrum of collection and testing needs. Sampling or pickup services often contribute to faster turnaround times, enable emergency response services and offer a sense of confidence in the timeliness of the analytical process to follow.

We can assist in the following categories: NPDES Permit/Industrial Discharge, Solid/Hazardous Waste, Storm Water Sampling, Groundwater Sampling, Flow Studies, and Drinking Water.

We can provide for manual and automated sampling to meet specific permit requirements. Flow monitoring and flow evaluations are also available via the use of manual or automated means. Routine sampling and equipment maintenance can be provided along with the required field chemistry analysis.
